SEVENTH ANNUAL CITY-WIDE RUMMAGE SALE PLANNED FOR WHITEWATER!

(April 9) GET READY FOR THE SEVENTH ANNUAL CITY-WIDE RUMMAGE SALE PLANNED FOR WHITEWATER!

The UWW/Community Optimist Club, in cooperation with the Whitewater Chamber of Commerce, will be hosting an All-City Rummage Sale on Saturday, May 21, 2011. Registrations are now being accepted. All proceeds from the registration fee for this event help fund activities to support youth programs throughout the year. Last year saw over 70 families benefit by having their rummage sale on the same day. More sales draw more people and means more items you don't have to store anymore! The cost to participants will be $10 per household, which guarantees each seller a spot on the master list, a sign for their yard, and a brief, 10-word description of the most attractive items available for sale.

Interested participants may reserve a spot now by picking up a registration form at the Whitewater Chamber of Commerce, Young Library, the First Citizens Bank, Commercial Bank, Westsider, the SweetSpot Coffee Shop and the Greenhouse Café.

You may mail your name, address, phone number, $10 fee, and description to: C. Miller, 1601 Turtle Mound Circle, Whitewater, 53190. Checks should be made payable to UW-Whitewater/Community Optimist Club. Rummage sale application form CLICK HERE.

Persons who wish to extend their sale through Sunday, May 22, should indicate that on their registration information. There is no additional fee and the second day is "on your own." Two-day sales will be highlighted on the locator list with an asterisk.

The final deadline for rummage sale registration is May 17. This guarantees participants a spot on the master list. Those master lists will be available for pick up at the businesses listed above beginning May 18th as well as at the SweetSpot Coffee Shop, 226 W. Whitewater Street on May 21st from 7-11am or until the locator lists are gone.

Sweet!!! Mom.. me & you can go to this!!! Be that I haven't gone into labor yet lol. Or maybe the walking around to these yard sales will help progress me going into labor. You'll be here by the time the "participants master list" is ready for people to pick up so we can go grab one.
